It's a very deep rooted pain and it's so awful. These people need our prayers for healing, because the pain must be truly terrible.
Their are people who are torn up with the guilt of years of taking the oral contraceptive pill, or the morning after pill, when they think of their own children they might've killed with those poisonous drugs.
Another thing I found really tragic is how many of the women were pressured into having an abortion by their OWN MOTHER! My God! How upsetting! The thought that one's own mother wouldn't support you when you find yourself in situation which is no doubt extremely scary and difficult, and instead marches you down to the nearest abortion clinic...I find terrifying!
How tragically blind and misguided.
Poor sweet Jesus; seeing all these thousands and thousands of tiny baby humans killed every day.
I know I've said this before on here, but it's something I feel very strongly about and which I feel society at large doesn't seem to care about (even many non-Catholic Christians and Catholics don't know and don't care), but it;s not just abortion that kills unborn babies....the oral contraceptive pill KILLS human life too!
So when you consider that in England and Wales there are 600 abortions that take place EVERY SINGLE DAY, plus the fact that some 60% of women are on the contraceptive pill...think how many thousands of human lives are lost in the womb every day.....
...now consider then entire WORLD.
with all the abortions in America, forced abortions everywhere in China, huge abortion rate in India, the use of intra-uterine contraceptive devices, the use of the pill, the morning after pill....
I would bet we are killing hundreds of thousands of unborn human lives each and every single day.

(nb: I'm not assigning moral culpability here. I wouldn't dare let my mind wander into blame or judgement of anyone for I am nothing and noone and waaay too scared of God to allow myself to judge anyone. I just wanted to highlight objective scientific facts. Assigning moral culpability is God's right and His right alone.)

Antonia, back in the day when I was a sidewalk counselor I used to see mothers DRAGGING their little girls in for the abortions. I also used to see boyfriends doing the same. They wouldn't even stay for the "procedure" and as they drove away they would wink at us or gloat. It was utterly disgusting. Then, later we would see them pick up these women who were outwardly depressed and in pain.
My girlfriend, a mother of a now college age woman told me that she would force her daughter to have an abortion if her daughter ever got pregnant. I asked my friend about "choice." "Where is your daughter's choice?" Silence.
It's interesting, I think, that those who are pro-abortion paint themselves as pro-choice, and us as being against human freedom, but how can there be any freedom greater than the freedom to live? Or, indeed, any freedom which doesn't have consequences to actions?
It's odd, and I've never gotten a good answer from a pro-abortion person on this. They tend to get hysterical and shut down the argument. In honesty, I think that's stepping on Christian toes a little. I mean, really, we're supposed to be the narrow-minded, irrational people, here, surely the secularists shouldn't be playing on our turf like that?
