Mass is the most spectacular and important event that goes on in our world.
If we want to do God's will in our life, we must attend Mass as frequently as we are able, because it is a torrent of grace.
We are, quite literally, unable to do any good without God's help.
So if we want to do lots of good, and be the person we are called to be, fully alive without the shakles of sin, we need lots and lots of help from God! So we must frequently go to the fount and source of grace...and that is the Mass.
Going to Mass is like being at Calvary on the day Jesus died. It is like being truely present at the Last Supper.
It's not just an imitation of being there...you are TRUELY there.
Recieving Communion is the most intimate act possible. You recieve Jesus, living and true, and He truely becomes a PART of your physical body, and of your soul.
In no other act, even sexual union, does anyone else become a physical part of you.
We must also attend frequent confession. In my experience, I find myself going off the tracks if I dont go to confession at least once every 4 weeks at the very most.
If we want to do God's will more than our own, then we really need His help! and so we need to go to Mass, and to Confession, as often as we possibly can.
There is no better way we can spend out time.
Whatever sacrifice we make for Jesus, He will repay us so that our cup overflows with his graces.
We can not possibly be more generous to God, than He will be to us in return.
God is so good; I think we would die if we saw how deeply He loves us, and how desperatly He desires us to love Him and do His will, so that we can be with Him forever.

Excellent post, Antonia! The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and holy communion is certainly paramount in the life of the soul.
I really love this post.
It's good to catch up with you, I've been quiet lately.
Love all the photos!
I know you're not at home (which probably is really hard for you!), but I just wanted to wish you & Chris a happy 1-year anniversary. Congratulations, you two! I hope your second year is better yet. :o)
