The fish are turning female, and we are drinking oestrogens

The powerful hormones in the oral contraceptive pills get pee-ed out by women and end up in rivers & water-ways and they are turning fish female, are making the few male fish infertile, and they are contaminating our drinking water supplies.

all I have to say is...YUK.

The thought of drinking oestrogen-contaminated water from other women's birth control pill use is extremely unpalatable.

Plus just think of the potential effect in could have on our bodies....the birth control pill drastically increases the risk of breast and cervical cancer...just think about drinking in those hormones in contaminated water every day of your life.
and then consider the effect that could have on fertility levels too.
