What a great gift! I have a JP2 coin that my mother brought home from her trip during the Jubilee in 1983. Your Papa Bene coin will be an heirloom for your children.
What a wonderful gift! I don't have any of those coins.
This week I was at vacation Bible school in my town helping to teach the 1st - 4th graders. And the lady who I thought with, brought me a gift on our final day. It was a breviary from 1947! I was so excited because I wanted a breviary from the pre-Vatican II era.
