How do you feel about people taking pilgramages to Medjugorge? Should they be taking these trips, even though the Vatican hasn't recognized officially, the apparitions?

I hope it's not too late to ask any random question? And not too personal too, I hope? I'm truly happy to 'meet' the faithful from all over the world!
Since I 'discovered' your blog, or rather, when you left a note on my blog :p, I've been so amazed reading about your daily life. It is very rare to encounter someone who:
1) is still a medical student and is courageous enough to get married,
2) is still 22 and with such a vibrant faith for one so young (and from UK.. no offense against UK, it's just that most Brit I know aren't Catholic, and of those who are young, few are serious about their faith)
4) is marrying someone who is equally serious about his faith!
So the big question is: who played (or still plays) an important role in forming your faith? Was it your family/parents? Or was there any figure/event that was a turning point in your spiritual life?
(If any of them is too personal, it's OK.. I really think you've been an inspiring person, and if you don't mind sharing, please write to me.)
