Vocations

I have just been reading the Diocese of Westminster's articles on the Priesthood and Vocations.

(I know, that makes perfect sense coming straight after a post where I wax lyrical at great length about the vast amounts of revision I have to do....!)

Although the 4 articles are aimed at men discerning the Priesthood, basically all of the points and advice can be applied to anyone discerning any vocation at all.
I thought they were really really good.

Plus they are written by the nicest Priest ever (actually a friend of mine, Fr. Stephen Wang).

I thought this bit was especially thought-provoking:

Be brave; take a risk. Above all: Don’t be afraid.
It’s God who is leading you forward; he has plans for you, whatever they are; you can’t go wrong if you are trying to do his will and listening and doing all you can.
He won’t let you down.

WOW - really amazing stuff eh? Really helpful, as you say, for discerning vocations other than the priesthood too.
