Hm, so it appears that the medical profession in England & Wales does still have some sort of conscience
"Abortion crisis threatens NHS"
(The NHS = the National Health Service which provides all health free of charge to every citizen in England & Wales).
The article is how there is an increasing number of doctos who are objection to performing abortions.
This was actually reflected when I did obstetric and gynaecology; out of the 6 Consultant doctors, only 2 would do abortions (and 1 of them seemed reluctant).
I actually knew a doctor when I was doing gynaecology, who performed late-term abortions WHILE SHE WAS PREGNANT.
it is honestly incomprehensible to me.
how numb does one's heart have to be?
Oh well, at least it's a good sign that doctors (on the whole) recognise that pre-born humans aren't akin to disposable rubbish.
Now if only we can get people to see that embryos are worthy of the same respect given to any other human being.....
thousands of humans are still being killed at the embryo stage of development due to the contracptive coil, the pill and the morning after pill.
1 in every THIRD person conceived in the world is killed in an abortion. (fact.)
However, I bet we'd be shocked if we actually knew how many billions more have been killed due to abortifacient contraceptive devices.

I heard about the "crisis" this morning on the radio. First time I've chortled with glee during the Today programme!!
The demand for abortion is on the rise, so I hope and pray that more Doctors refusing to perform them will have some sort of good knock-on effect.
It is good to the know the medical profession still has a heart!

This was a lie by the RCOG. They want the DH to legalise nurses performing abortions so are pretending there is a shortage of doctors to encourage such a move.
