Chris has just been reading SACRAMENTUM CARITATIS and he sent me some bits about the Eucharist & Matrimony he sent me.

The Eucharist, a nuptial sacrament


The Eucharist inexhaustibly strengthens the indissoluble unity and love of every Christian marriage. By the power of the sacrament, the marriage bond is intrinsically linked to the eucharistic unity of Christ the Bridegroom and his Bride, the Church (cf. Eph 5:31-32).

the marriage bond is "intrinsically linked" to the bond between Christ & the Church!

so if you don't have the Eucharist at your Nuptials how does this fit in?? my cousin and his fiance are getting married but NO Eucharist... I still can't fathom it... He is Catholic- she is not.. she wants to convert but I am not sure about it. My dh and I have talked to him about it- it's really concerning..
