....my blog appears to have messed itself up, with the sidebar shifting to well off the bottom of the screen....
*looks puzzled*
I'm sure I didn't do anything to my blog template...why has it gone like that?!
can anyone help?

I've had that happen to me before. It could either that the pictures you posted were too big and it pushed the sidebar down or that you posted something big on the sidebar causing it to go down.
If you delete or resize whatever you posted before it got moved down it should fix it.
