I found this picture and I just had to share it...I need something exciting to brighten my loong days of isolation in the library....woooohooo, only 5 weeks to the England smoking ban!!
That means no more smoking in public places!! YEY!!
And just think how many people have died form breathing in the passive exhilations of smokers. As a former smoker myself, I share in the burdn of guilt.
You'll be happy to know there is no smoking in public buildings (including restaurants, bars, and clubs) in British Columbia. (Speaking of which, less than a month until I get to meet you in person!)

the sooner the ban, the better.
Personally i think it smacks of 'the nanny state'. BTW never had a cigarette in my life....
Well, I see it this way...it's illegal to drink and drive because you might end up killing someone else, so why should smoking be any different?
I don't want to get any of the smoking-related cancers because someone else's health-harming decision!
I gave up smoking before my op. I am really glad of this ban. Another aspect of it all is less temptation for x-smokers like me!
