3 weeks from freedom...

and 2 weeks from pain....!

My exams start in 2 weeks (& will be finished in 3! yippeee)!

I can't wait till they are over (just wish I didn't actually have to suffer through them first!) Life has been pretty revision focused over the last couple of weeks; this last week I have been in the library for an average of 10 hours each day (...yeh, I wish I was joking!) and I have a bunch more stuff I need to make sure I get done in the next 2 weeks before they start.

On the plus side, at least the weather has been AWFUL! It makes sitting in the library a lot easier to bear!

Chris himself has been pretty hard-working this last week; while I've been coming from the library at about 9-10pm every night, he's been coming back from the lab at about midnight!
He goes to France this Monday for a conference and has a load of research that he needs to present to his PhD sponsors at the conference, and so has been working pretty hard to make sure the data is collected and analysed.
(yes, you could say that he probably should have done it all by now given that we are 48hrs away from his departure to France, but his lab has been having some serious work-shop technician related problems as the technicians haven't managed to make all the stuff he needs to experiment on till last week!)

So needless to say.....I am looking forward to exactly one month when I will be on that plane flying to Boston for a week ...and then to British Columbia for 5 weeks!!

yipppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

but for now....back to histopathology, haematology, immunology, genetics & clinical biochemistry!

British Columbia is absolutely beautiful! It is very similar to AK. You will LOVE it!

A nice vacation...ahhhh, how lovely it will be! All of those 'ology's will be long gone and you can relax a little! At first when I read your post, I thought you had written "ChrisT has been working hard..." And I thought, "hmm, does she have special visions of Christ or something?" before I re-read it and realized it said "CHRIS" heehee, I've got to get more sleep!

Interesting subjects you have there!!!

Hey, do you happen to know, for women that have a thrombophilia (such as Protein S Deficiency) is there a NATURAL protocal for trying to conceive. I've seen so much differing information. I'm taking fish oil, EXTRA folic acid and 400 IU of vitamin E to help keep clots at bay. On the other hand, I've come across other stuff that says that Protein S Deficiency has no effect until the 2nd trimester. (I'm also accepting that I have some hormonal issues that have been hindering my ability to implant, etc., which I'm attempting to resolve through chinese medicine and certain supplements.)
