We got a letter in the mail today saying that we aren't allowed to extend the contract on our house because our landlord has decided she wants to sell it!
So we are getting kicked out in January and have to find somewhere else to live!
It's a bit pooey as we only just moved in 3 months ago (and had a bit of a nightmare of a time finding this place) and now have to pack up all our junk again and move! (AND it'll be the middle of winter, with snow, ice, freeeeezing cold air and days dark by 3pm !!)
We were hoping to stay in this house till summer 2008 after I finished medical school....but obviously not!
*sighs*
Oh well! It could be worse!
Back to the old drawing board (or rather, St. Joseph prayers!)
(actually, given it is November, perhaps we will pray extra loads for the Holy Souls in Purgatory and ask them to help us find a new house!!)

Well you certainly can't go wrong with prayer, so i'm sure you will find a place in no time.
It would be very overwhelming for you both i'm sure.
I have to empty my house so I can rent it out and move in with my mum before the wedding and I don't know where to begin with packing and unpacking!
My mom and I are currently selling our rental house, so I can say with experience that I think your landlord is nuts! The pain that is selling our house I wouldn't wish on anyone. I hope you guys find a new place, soon.
Dark by 3?! I though 5 was bad. On the upside maybe renters will be willing to cut a deal with you guys. Finding renters or selling a house is harder in winter so people are more likely to go down in price or offer the first month half off. At least around here they do.
