FR. BENEDICT GROESCHEL!
The founder of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, and the major EWTN celebrity!
He's been in England for the last few weeks travelling round & speaking at various parishes.
Below he is dispensing his words of wisdom to Chirs..!

It was lovely to meet him. He was really excited to hear that I go to Pauda in Italy every year (I've been going since I was minus 2 months old). There is a big Basillica in Padua where St. Anthony's body is buried (St. Anthony was a great Franciscan. One of the first, at the same time as St. Francis). (He's the Saint I was named after)
(Actually,Chris propsed to me in front of a state of Mary in St. Anthony's Basillica!! On September 8th, Mary's birthday!) (I forgot to tell Fr. Benedict that though).
He also gave a great inspiring talk!
The Franciscan Friars of the Renewal are so awesome. They are such humble men who really do shine with holiness and with the purity of Christ. (there are also Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal, but I haven't personally met any).
