Today is my last night in this town where I've been for the last 7 weeks.
Goodbyes have been said, bags are packed, and although I'm very very eager and excited to get home to England, and especially to see Chris who I have missed so much, I'm also kinda sad, and I know I will miss it here!
Being such a small place people were really friendly to me and I built up a nice community of friends from the Catholic Church and from the hospital.
People invited me out to dinner, for tea, for hikes and trips and I am so so so grateful because it really made me feel so welcome and cared for, and really helped make my time even more enjoyable.
And of course, especially remembering Delixit Prior's family who so very very kindly housed me, fed me and looked after me every day for the last 7 weeks! I was very much at home with them and it was a genuine blessing and gift from God to come here!
Look! It's my reflection!Speaking of random acquaintances....these photos were taken by an amateur photographer friend I made while here!
They are nice, right?!
(I've got about 50 more, so be glad I am sparing you with only a couple!)
So from Saturday to Tuesday I will be in Vancouver city itself exploring and sight-seeing.
and then on Tuesday I will be flying back to England!
I don't know whether I will be able to blog from Vancouver...so if not....see you in England!
(but knowing me, I always seem to find a way to blog!)
God Bless
(pray for me cos I really dislike flying!)
Aaaahhh...beautiful British Columbia!

Prayers for a safe flight home! Thanks for the pictures; they are lovely. Enjoy Vancouver!
I am so glad you had a great time. And I will pray for you because I know how terrible it is to fly when you don't like it. God bless!
Fabulous pictures...sounds very profitable!
Nice to know you’ve had a good time in Canada Antonia. I was wondering if you might think it time to put your thoughts on NFP, premarital sex, marriage and abortion down in a book. Your sweet, simple and accessible writing tone sounds like just the thing to reach tween and teen girls, who have been indoctrinated by public education and media into runaway promiscuity and gulping buckets of contraceptives or morning after pills. You make a credible role model – charming, pretty, young, married, doctor, highly educated young husband. Maybe youngsters might not find the same message, over and over, on your blog, but a well marketed book (on the blogs and elsewhere) will be a nice read for Catholic girls in England, Canada and developing countries. If you do write, be sure to put in a word for parents – the more stable and loving the home - with a strong, present father, the more children are likely to exercise restraint and not go looking to fill their emptiness with premature sexual experimentation, drugs and such like.
Hey all! Thanks for the kind comments & prayers!
One wholly catholic....hmm.....that's a very very interesting idea....you have given me food for thought/prayer....do you have any more tips on how exactly I could go about doing this?
Thanks for the suggestion...
God Bless
