Miss Potter

Chris & I went to see the film "Miss Potter" this evening.
( I got free tickets.)

(As you may have gathered from my other posts, we are too poor to afford treats, so most of our excitment is thanks to free vouchers we gather from newspapers or the internet!)

The film is based on Beatrix Potter ; the lady who wrote all the sweet 'Peter Rabbit' books.

It was a really pretty and cute film; lots of beautiful English countryside, animals, pictures, children, stories...all in all, quite a delightful watch!

Yey! For ONCE a refreshing wholesome film at the cinema; no sex-before-marriage, no promiscuity, no adultary, no divorce, no swearing, no semi-naked girls, no derogatory talk about sex, no vulgarity...basically, I would let small children watch it and they would enjoy it (well, little girls probably would...depends on the personality of the little boy!)

It has Renee Zellweger in and she was a darling actress (SO much better than she was in that trash Bridget Jones Diary. I saw Bridget Jones Diary2 because all my friends wanted to see it after our exams a few years ago; it was SO GROSS. I had to close my eyes for most of it because it was so vulgar and I couldn't stomach seeing such yuckiness. So I am glad to report that her behaviour is altogether more moral in this film!)

I'm glad you both got out to see this movie, it sounds nice I like beatrix potter.
I too have seen the Bridget Jones diary one night when I was at home and wondered what all the fuss was about. It was gross I agree, I didn't finnish watching it either.
Also I love the quote in the post you put up after this one, amen to that!
