Without any kind mummification or embalming methods, their corpses have thus remained incorrupt, a few even after 1,500 years. The accounts of incorruptible bodies are a part of Christian history from the first century right through to the 21st.

St. Peter's Helpers reminded me that Pope Blessed John XXIII's body is also incorrupt. He is a modern-day man, having died in only 1963. Click here for an article on his miraculous un-corrupted remains 36 years after his death when he was exhumed in 2001

That is awesome! Thanks for the link.
I knew about St. Bernadette, but I didn't know about all the others! That is amazing!
Most recent incorruptible is Blessed Pope John XIII whose remains is now in St. Peter's Basilica. So Antonia, when you're in Rome, don't miss visiting his tomb for veneration and if you can throw in an Ave for little old St. Pete's Helpers. Grazie! :)
That's a great link thank you, I found it amazing and very interesting.
